Supplier data not displayed for certain components

After exporting the excel, I don't get any (or not all) supplier data for some components. What have I done? I have added a the supplier in *part choices* for all components in the component library by adding the supplier link through the 'edit supplier options' in the part choices section of the properties panel.399-C0805C180J5GAC7800CT-ND: if we look at this one specifically, I have specified the supplier as 'Digikey' and have checked the option to pull info from the server to populate the BOM in the output jobfile configs but to no avail. How can I fix that? Thanks in advance!Edit: An extra question.. is it always necessary to add a supplier in the part choices option, because when I only import a component for the MPN search panel, I don't get the supplier data into my BOM unless I add the supplier link in the *part choices* section as well.

I don't know why it didn't export ... hmm ... interesting

supplier: depends if you need it, I always use it, so I always export it

I do not see all the parameters of the component.Your Excel shows "Manufacturer 1", but the parameters does have a "Manufacturer" parameter. That is something different. But it is a question on what your template has, the data that you want to show and the parameters you have.Do note that normally a part has multiple suppliers, you seem to have turned it around.Attached is a BOM I create.

@Robert Feranec @QDrives Thanks for the help, but I didn't completely understand what you guys meant.I know that there's a manufacturer from the docs and a manufacturer 1,2,3,... which are from the *server sources*I just about now figured out the issue... the design item ID where with 'CMP' which are for components for the Altium vault. After changing it to the comp from my own library it got sorted.I have a question, however *'supplier: depends if you need it, I always use it, so I always export it'*What do you mean by this? I was talking about whether it was always necessary to add the supplier that you want to use in *part choices* section in the component library (to get the pricing etc. in BOM)I ask this because I looked at your esp32 tutorial and there, you simply imported the components into the library without the need to add a supplier link in part choices and still got the prices in the BOMhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWIzhbQaZZk

For ActiveBom it depends on how you configured things. I changed default settings so that it matches the way I want it to work. For me, a supplier can be useful if you are doing prototypes as it saves the one buying the components a lot of searching themselves. My BOM has 2 possible suppliers, although most of them will be Digikey and Farnell.Supplier is a helper, but the most important parameters are the manufacturer and manufacturer part number. That last parameter is the one I use for the search, both for assigning the suppliers in the library and in ActiveBom.However, everything you want/do is a personal preference. If you do it may way, you need to add a lot of additional parameters and update the footprint, but... again in my opinion, a lot better production data.I hear a lot of production issues. My feeling is by using a better approach to make the production data, some of these production issues will be prevented.
