Via numbers

Can anyone help, how do you turn off the number showing on via,

it gets very messy when you have hundreds of vias on a board

VIAs do not have numbers. That number may be just some text or something related to one of your components.

Hello,
You may navigate to "View Configuration" panel -> View options and in there enable or disable the "Via Nets" and "Via Span" option buttons to show or hide the Nets names and Via span (or Via numbers as u mentioned. 🙂).
Attached a snapshot for reference..

Basically those "via numbers" are "Via span" that displays what layers a via is connecting.. Once you work on HDI design this will really come in handy.
