I hope this email finds you well.

My name is Yusuf Han Kızıltepe, a final-year Electronics Engineering student from Turkey. I am writing to seek advice regarding my preparation for the Advanced Digital Hardware Design (ZettBrett) course, and I would be grateful if this message could be forwarded to Mr. Robert Feranec.

I am deeply impressed by the quality of FEDEVEL's high-speed design education and plan to use the ZettBrett project as the foundation for securing internships in global technology companies.

To maximize my success in the ZettBrett course, I have planned a structured, phased preparation:

Phase 1 (Theory): Mastering Signal Integrity principles through Eric Bogatin's courses.

Phase 2 (Philosophy): Establishing Power Integrity (PI) and grounding design methodology through Rick Hartley's seminars.

Phase 3 (Application): Enrolling in the ZettBrett course to apply this knowledge to complex Xilinx Zynq/DDR3 design.

My question is: Given FEDEVEL's expertise in the modern hardware industry, does Mr. Feranec or the team believe this structured approach provides the most effective prerequisite knowledge for success and for creating a portfolio that meets industry standards?

I recommend to start with the thing you are the most excited about. If you are most excited about the board, go for the course directly, if about signal integrity do that first. It's a long way, so it is important you keep interested in it as long as possible. If you start with something "boring" you may give up too soon or lose interest before going into the parts you are interested in.

About the course you are asking about. This is a Phil's course, so I don't know all the details. It says it is a course for people who already designed a board (so no complete beginners), but as you study electronics you may be ok. If you don't feel comfortable you can take the Phil's Mixed-Signal Hardware Design with KiCad first or one of the Petr's courses: https://fedevel.com/instructors/petr-dvorak

Once you will be taking the course, make notes and then you can search for more information about what you did not understand.
