Why do you delete each lenght matched segment except top layer and L3

While routing DDR3, I checked on the course that you have to move away your layout which is already lenght matched, I don´t understand why you have to move away everything except fanout (top layer) of the first memory chips pair and the layout between VIAs from first memory chips pair through the VIA located in the middle (T connection). Could be useful to move away all the layout before length matching the tracks between CPU and the VIAs of the middle? This is the part of the layout which is moved away from the board before the lenght matching (attached picture) Thank you! 😀

I don't remember exactly, but I believe I moved the layout away because it helps when doing length matching ... maybe then it is easy to check total length? In older versions of altium there were no xSignals and also when doing branch length matching it can be tricky. So I think that is what I show there - simply temporarily moving away part of the layout can help with length matching.
