How to solder packages LGA (and others) by hand ?

Hi together,
I started learning layouting with Robert's high quality content. Many thanks for it!
Now I wanted to do the project that Robert is currently presenting on his Youtube-Channel on my own:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_x2fzKEjUGQAmong other components there is used an accelerometer with LGA footprint, I could not find a substitute that is suitable for normal hand soldering. So my question is how to solder such parts as
KXTJ3-1057 by hand. Would I use solder paste on the pads, then place the IC and then solder it down with a hot air gun? Which model could I use for this? Or is it done with something else then hot air gun?
Bonus question: Do you know where I can find the accelerometer KXTJ3-1057? It's out of stock at Digikey, Farnell and Mouser. Is there any substitutable accelerometer I could use? So far I couldn't find one.
Thanks,
Markus

Thank you Markus - I may do a video about how to solder it down. It is not difficult, you just need a hot air gun.
It is very similar like this: PCB Soldering with a Hot Air Gun

Thank you, I'll try it.
