I2C software for windows

altay , 07-04-2019, 08:09 AM
I have intel Celeron which supports I2C
I want to connect to a PIC microcontroller
The CPU should be master and PIC is planned to be slave
My problem is that the Windows 7 does not have any tool to directly call the I2C in the CPU!
Do you have any idea what can I use?

PS:
RealTerm does not support intel
I had googled! I found just some USB/I2C converters with some dummy software

Thanks for anyone helped me

In my opinion, the easiest way to connect your PC with a microcontroller is to use USB to Serial cable (such TTL-232R-3VR: https://www.newark.com/ftdi/ttl-232r...t=TTL-232R-3V3 ). Then you use a simple serial communication code example for your PIC and in PC use a standard serial terminal e.g. teraterm http://ttssh2.osdn.jp/
